Megan Morton: Science of Styling
I've admired Megan Morton's work for a long time. She is one of Australian prolific stylist, works with atmospheres and interior. She's been featured in the pages of Vogue Living, Inside Out and In Style and on the covers of international publications; Elle Decortation UK and Vanity Fair. I was very excited that I had the chance to attend one of her Melbourne Roadshow program: Science of Styling Masterclass yesterday at Small Giant.
Here a few quotes from her presentation that I really likes and and would like to share:
"I am going to make everything around me beautiful - that will be my life." Elsie de Wolfe
"No amount of money can buy you style. It's just instinctive. You can't try to be somebody you're not; that's not style." Iris Aprel
"The best stylist don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything."
There are fun courses being run each day this week by a host of Australian talents. Visit The School website for the program, be quick because all are booking out fast.

I don't often go to Fitzroy side but I am really glad I went this morning and attended the artist talk: Beci Orpin about her happiness via Melbourne Creative Morning. Inspiring and talented illustrator! After the talk, me and my friend went for brunch at one of favourite locals, Slowpoke. Melbourne-based French designer Anne-Sophie Poirier aka Sasufi has designed the interior of this cafe with a very limited budget and has been shortlisted for the Australian Interior Design Awards 2012. Poirier made use of offcuts from local furniture makers who use recycled timbers to decorate a 12 meter long wall in the cafe. Read the full review via Broadsheet.

Sneak Peek
I have been working on a new graphic identity for my friends' latest project. The lovely couple behind this project charms me with their concept of creating fun/ enviroment-friendly kids educational products. Both of them graduated with degree in Industrial Design. The guy just finished his Masters of Design Anthropology last year. What a talented couple! I also got the opportunity to create an illustration for their product packaging. The above image was only 1/4 drawing from the final illustration. Yes, There will be more magical scene on that playground...
