Cape Schanck

Cape Schanck is a locality in Victoria, Australia. It is the southernmost tip of the Mornington Peninsula and separates the wild ocean waters of Bass Strait from the slightly calmer waters of Western Port. The most recognisable symbol of Cape Schanck is the Cape Schanck Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in 1859 and was the second lighthouse built in Victoria.[2] A prominent rock outcrop is Pulpit Rock and stands out at the very tip of the cape. (text : wikipedia)

The Photographer

Sherbrooke Forest lies at an altitude of 300 m within the Dandenong Ranges, 40 km east of Melbourne, in Victoria, Australia, close to the suburb of Belgrave. The vegetation is classified as wet sclerophyll forest with the dominant tree species the Mountain Ash, Eucalyptus regnans, the tallest flowering plant in the world. From the mid 19th century until 1930 it was logged. In 1958 it was gazetted as a park, and in 1987 it was merged with Doongalla Reserve and Ferntree Gully National Park to form the 32.15 km² Dandenong Ranges National Park. Megan Morton: Science of Styling

I've admired Megan Morton's work for a long time. She is one of Australian prolific stylist, works with atmospheres and interior. She's been featured in the pages of Vogue Living, Inside Out and In Style and on the covers of international publications; Elle Decortation UK and Vanity Fair. I was very excited that I had the chance to attend one of her Melbourne Roadshow program: Science of Styling Masterclass yesterday at Small Giant

Here a few quotes from her presentation that I really likes and and would like to share:
"I am going to make everything around me beautiful - that will be my life." Elsie de Wolfe
"No amount of money can buy you style. It's just instinctive. You can't try to be somebody you're not; that's not style." Iris Aprel
"The best stylist don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything."

There are fun courses being run each day this week by a host of Australian talents. Visit The School website for the program, be quick because all are booking out fast.

Albert Park Lake

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes (butdoesitfloat). I have a relationship with this space, Albert Park Lake, Melbourne. Here's a place where I spent my morning for jogging. Its difficult to resist not stoping my step to take some pictures. Those beauty bring me happiness, relaxing my eyes from busy metropolitan views.
